I'm very excited to be in the final editing stages for Tails, 1st in the Silver Wishes Series.
Kywah's story has been close to my heart for many years - almost got released in a joint venture with a publisher a few years ago, but alas they folded just before Tails' release date.
I was fortunate the very talented illustrator, John Helle-Nielsen, was able to once again draw all the illustrations for Tails. His wonderful pictures are throughout Hieroglyph, another of my children's novels, which has gone on and won awards.
Below are a couple of friends who help Kywah in his quest to save his pack.

Akule Pack’s peaceful existence is shattered by the arrival of the hunters, who scour the Plains, seeking to harvest their silver tails as if they were treasure. Trapped, the silvertails hide in the foothills with nowhere to run as the hunters draw closer. Their only hope of survival is finding the Wise One and retrieving the Deep Magic. With no tail to lose Kywah volunteers, but without any magical tail sense will he be able to evade the hunters and return in time to save his pack from annihilation?
