SEASONS OF MONEY
Money flows into our lives much like the seasons.
There can be an abundance or a scarcity of the greenery.
Things can be growing—or withering on the vine.
It starts in spring as we carefully plant our crops.
They continue to grow under our watchful eye in summer.
Our labors rewarded as we sit around the table celebrating.
But fall also prepares us for the cold winter days ahead
When the chill blankets everything in ice and snow.
While we’re mindful of what was stored for winter months ahead,
We’re hopeful that spring will return in our seasons of money.

She was born and raised in the foggy Bay Area, but in 1990 relocated with her husband, kids, dogs, and cats to the Sierra foothills in Nevada City, CA.
