I'm thrilled to host author Jan Sikes #RRBC's June Spotlight Author - Welcome Jan!
I’ve recently found myself running around in circles like the proverbial chicken with its head cut off, so when I found this, I felt it worthy of sharing.
How can we have a productive day? Keep reading!
1. Have a good morning routine.
The way you start your day can make or break it. Your morning routine should have these elements:
- Reflection time.
Exercise.
Planning.
After finishing your morning routine, you are then ready for your tasks and activities.
One key to getting things done is to focus on the task at hand.
3. Take breaks.
You can’t be at your peak at all times during the day.
4. Celebrate wins.
To have a productive day, you need to keep your motivation high. One good way to do that is to celebrate your wins.
5. Take advantage of low-intensity time.
Some activities don’t require your full concentration. Exercise time, for instance, is a good time to listen to podcasts or audio books. I call this multi-tasking.
WAIT!!
Who the heck am I kidding? While all the suggestions above are perfect and what I SHOULD do, I pretty much hit the ground running. The one thing I am consistent with, is my morning beverage, and my attitude. All the above, I catch as catch can. This image pretty much says it.
