Lucky me!
Recently, I was privileged to attend my first ever Romance Writers' Conference.
Ok, can't say too much, as what goes on at conference yada yada …

But seriously, my presence there was due to #RRBC's Alpha-Omega Short Story Challenge, as this encouraged me to explore new genres.
So I didn't feel like a fraud attending as I'd published some 'romance' stories!

3 FUN ROMANCE FACTS ABOUT WENDY

NUMBER ONE:

For our first date I was dressed up as the back end of a horse/cow, and my partner was in a muppet suit.

Must have been a match made in muppet-heaven as we're still together!

NUMBER TWO:

After many years together we decided to have an unwedded-bliss party.

,NUMBER THREE:

The most romantic 'card' he ever sent me was when he was away on a territorial army exercise. There was a knock on my door, and standing on my doorstep was a 6 foot plus soldier who handed me a piece of wood.
My partner had asked him to deliver this 'note'.

Yep, he's a keeper!
